Is it possible to reformat a pc laptop to make it a macbook?

I have a toshiba laptop, but only Macs can run Final Cut Pro... I don't want to make it a dual boot because I have little hard drive space. I'd rather have a full on hackintosh. Would this be possible? If so, what will I need?
