How to disable COMPLETELY notebook lid close suspension?

i have been all over power management were it say lid close i set it to do nothing in fact i took off sleep or hibernation period when ever its plugged in but it still does it i imagine it is a different process the sleep or hibernation it is a Toshiba sat l305-s5955 running vista i pretty much just want the screen to shut off when i close it that is it and if i have to leave the light on to keep everything else on that's better the everything turning off especially when i am downloading i cant just close the lid and leave it be
