Can my Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family graphics card run Left 4 Dead 2?

I just purchased Left 4 Dead 2, and have been dying to play it since it's release, but unfortunately the game says that my graphics card is not found in the Steam database. So, I'm hearing that some of you can run the game, but the graphics suck, and it's not enjoyable. So, what do I do? Return the game and never enjoy playing the game? Or find another one? But, I've heard that my Satellite Toshiba's graphic card is soldered in and therefore cannot be replaced or upgraded. PLEASE help me with this!!! Thanks.
