Do I have a good laptop?

Just about every laptop can surf the web decently, and these specs are fine for doing so. In terms of gaming, the processor is probably ok for casual gaming, but definitely not anything intense. What also matters is your graphics card. Since you didn't say which it runs, I'd assume it's an integrated Intel chip, which runs day-to-day functions well, but is not exactly good for gaming or multimedia.
