Why will my tv not turn on any more?

i have a toshiba 55" tv 50hp66 and one day it just turned off when i opened the service door on the back of the tv i saw that the fuse was burnt out a 125v 8amp i went to buy a new fuse and the guy said that they were out of slow blow or slow acting fuses but the fast acting would be just fine but my tv still will not turn on there is also another part before the fuse part its were the power cord goes in and its called a noise filter could this have burnt out to and were can i buy toshiba parts i looked online but was unable to find this part the noise filter
